Race Committee page now has content

Click on the Race Committee link to see a list and pictures of the people who work together on the Across the Years race committee. If you are a runner in the race, be sure to take a moment to say hello, and if it crosses your mind, to thank them, and also the volunteers. The work they do is for your benefit, and they would all love to know who you are.

More people than you might think work together to put on Across the Years. Some work steadily throughout the year to accomplish tasks that in the end contribute to making Across the Years what we believe to be the very best event in the world of multi-day ultrarunning.

By no means to be overlooked are the numerous volunteers, some of whom look forward all year to coming from out of state to serve the needs of Across the Years runners, spend their year end and start with us, and just to be a part of this wonderful and unique race. We heartily thank every single person who contributes, and wish we could name them all here.

Registration update

Some people have written, noticing that people have been registering for the races, and wondering if we might be able to say more about it.

As the front page of the web site says, we are conducting a phased registration. At this writing, early registration is taking place for long-time friends of Across the Years. General registration is scheduled to begin later. We will be sharing further information about this at a more appropriate time.

Interest in running Across the Years this year is immense. The facility and resources at our disposal are not big enough to handle everyone who wants to be with us. It's inevitable that a few people may be disappointed at not being able to get in.

As the races fill, a waiting list for each one will be created. If you do not get in before, you are welcome to try that route.
